Privacy Policy
The short version: we collect what we need to run the service, we do not sell it, and we never see your card details.
1. What we collect
When you scan a website
- The URL you submit
- Your IP address (to rate-limit abuse)
- The results of the scan
You do not need an account to run a scan.
When you create an account
- Your name and email address
- A hashed password — we never store the password itself and we cannot read it
- Your scan history
When you buy something
- Your billing details
- A record of what you bought and when
We never see, receive, or store your card number, CVV, or bank credentials. Payment is handled entirely by our payment gateway. Your card details go from your browser to them and never touch our server.
When you contact us
- Whatever you tell us, and anything you attach
2. Why we collect it
- To run the scan you asked for and show you the result
- To let you log back in and see your history
- To take payment and give you what you paid for
- To answer your support messages
- To stop abuse of the service
3. What we do not do
- We do not sell your data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
- We do not share your scan results with anyone else.
- We do not send you marketing you did not ask for.
4. Who we share it with
Only the third parties we need to run the service:
- Our payment gateway — to take payment. They handle your card details; we do not.
- Our hosting provider — the servers your data sits on.
- Our email provider — to send you the emails you expect from us.
We may disclose data if we are legally required to. If that happens and we are permitted to tell you, we will.
5. How long we keep it
- Scan results: as long as your account exists
- Account data: until you delete your account
- Payment records: as long as tax law requires us to keep them, which is longer than we would otherwise choose
6. Your rights
You can:
- Ask what data we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete your account, and with it your data — subject to records we are legally required to keep
- Ask us to export your data

7. Security
We use HTTPS everywhere, hash passwords, offer two-factor authentication, rate-limit sensitive endpoints, and store uploaded files outside the web root so they cannot be reached by URL.
No system is perfectly secure, and anyone who claims otherwise is selling something. If we ever discover a breach affecting your data, we will tell you.
8. Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work — keeping you logged in, and protecting forms against cross-site request forgery. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
